War On Earth
Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective September 30, 2026
This policy explains what data the War On Earth game (Android) processes, why, who it is shared with and what your rights are. It follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018), Brazil's Digital Statute of Children and Adolescents (Law 15,211/2025), Google Play policies and, for players in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the GDPR.
1. Who we are
The data controllers are Carlos Henrique and Edinaldo Silva, individuals residing in Brazil who develop games under the name Solstice Studios (“we” in this policy). Contact for privacy matters and data protection officer channel (LGPD, art. 41): [email protected].
2. Summary
- The game has no sign-up or login and does not ask for your name, email, phone number, photos, contacts or precise location.
- Your progress, high scores and settings are stored on your device.
- We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played (for example, which stage players give up on), with a random identifier — we don't know who you are.
- Ads are optional rewarded videos only (via Google AdMob) and are non-personalized for every player.
- We don't sell data. There is no chat, no randomized purchases (loot boxes) and no interaction between players.
3. Data we process
3.1 Data stored on your device
High scores, progress, Hangar items and settings are stored only in the app's storage on your device. We have no access to them. They are deleted when you uninstall the game or clear the app's data.
3.2 Google Analytics for Firebase (usage statistics)
When enabled, the Firebase SDK collects:
- an app installation identifier (random, generated on the device);
- game events: start and end of stages and sectors, deaths (and what caused them), chosen ship and cards, in-game currency spent in the Hangar, score, and use of the rewarded video options;
- technical information: device model, Android version, language, app version and session data (duration, engagement);
- approximate country or region, derived from the IP address by Google.
We configure Analytics with ad personalization signals disabled and Google Signalsturned off. You can stop sending this data in the game Settings (“Send usage data”).
3.3 Google AdMob (rewarded videos)
The game optionally offers watching a video to continue an Endless mode run or to earn extra scrap. No one has to watch, and declining doesn't affect the game. To show and measure these ads, Google AdMob may process:
- the Android advertising ID and/or App Set ID;
- IP address, device and system information;
- ad interactions (whether it was shown, watched to the end or closed).
We ask Google for non-personalized ads only: your history is not used to choose the ad, but Google still uses identifiers for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention. Learn more atHow Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
3.4 Google Play
Downloads, installation and updates through Google Play are handled by Google under theGoogle Privacy Policy.
3.5 Email contact
If you write to us, we process your email address and message only to reply.
4. Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (LGPD art. 7 / GDPR art. 6) |
|---|---|---|
| Understand usage, balance difficulty and fix problems | Analytics (3.2) | Legitimate interest, with an opt-out |
| Show optional, non-personalized rewarded videos that keep the game free | AdMob (3.3) | Legitimate interest; in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, consent |
| Reply to messages | Email (3.5) | Legitimate interest or the data subject's request |
| Comply with legal obligations and authorities | As required | Legal obligation |
5. Who we share data with
With Google LLC and its affiliates, which provide Firebase/Google Analytics, AdMob and Google Play. See the Google Privacy Policy andPrivacy and Security in Firebase. We may also share data when required by law. We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Google's services process data on servers in the United States and other countries. These transfers rely on the safeguards provided in arts. 33–36 of the LGPD and in the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses adopted by Google.
7. Retention
- Analytics: user-level event data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted; aggregated reports may be kept.
- AdMob: according to Google's retention periods.
- Emails: for as long as needed to reply and meet legal obligations.
- On-device data: until you uninstall the game or clear the app's data.
8. Security
Data sent by the game is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We collect the minimum necessary and keep no player accounts.
9. Your rights
Under the LGPD (art. 18) you may request: confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, information about sharing, information about the option not to consent, withdrawal of consent and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also complain to Brazil's data protection authority (ANPD). Players in the EU, UK and Switzerland have the rights in arts. 15–22 of the GDPR and may complain to their local authority.
How to exercise them:
- Turn statistics off in the game under Settings › Send usage data.
- Reset or delete your Android advertising ID in device Settings › Google › Ads.
- Delete game data by uninstalling the game or clearing the app's data.
- For other requests, write to [email protected]. Since we don't know who you are, we may ask for the installation identifier shown in the game Settings to find the data.
10. Children and teenagers
War On Earth is intended for people 13 years or older and is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.
In the best interest of children and teenagers (LGPD art. 14 and Brazil's Digital Statute of Children and Adolescents): ads are non-personalized for everyone (no profiling for advertising), video rewards are always fixed and optional, the game has no loot boxes, randomized purchases, chat or player interaction, and privacy settings default to the most protective mode we offer.
11. Players in the European Union, United Kingdom and Switzerland
In these regions the game shows Google's consent message (UMP) before using identifiers for ads, and you can change your choice at any time through the ad privacy option in the game Settings.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version and effective date are shown at the top of the page; relevant changes will also be announced in the game or on its store page.
